As we reflect on an incredible year, we are proud to publish our achievements for 2024 and share our ambitious goals for next year.
2025 will be a game-changing year for San Francisco Disability Business Alliance and the community it serves, but despite our unwavering energy and commitment, we can’t do it alone.

2024 – A Year of Growth and Inspiration
Operations
Completed the transition to operate as an independent 501(c)(3) organization
Became an official vendor for California Department of Occupational Rehabilitation
Acquired office space at the Hej! Industrious co-working space with easy access by public transportation and accommodation for diverse audiences
Revamped the website to be more engaging and informative
Programs
Provided technical assistance to over 50 businesses through our DOB Enabler program
Trained 20 budding entrepreneurs with our Future Entrepreneurship Cohort program
Hosted a successful and sold-out Small Business Week event in partnership with the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Development Center (SBDC), Small Business Administration (SBA), and Department of Rehabilitation (DOR)
Gathered over 100 attendees to the Bay Area Disability Entrepreneurship Event, raising over $20,000
Launched the 1st ever Boost Awards with the sponsorship of CIBC awarding 5 entrepreneurs $1000 each to help fund their small business
Funding
Secured $50,000+ in funding for small businesses
Obtained 2 corporate grants totaling $45,000
Completed a city grant project with Arc SF to support 3 Future Entrepreneur Cohorts in 2023-2024
Awards
Received the Community Partnership Award from the San Francisco State University Institute of Civic and Community Engagement
Nominated as a finalist for the San Francisco Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Business Awards in the category of Diversity & Inclusion

We’ll shine a spotlight on the transformative impact of supporting disability-owned businesses through blogs, success stories, webinars and events, and amplify our voices to reach policymakers, business leaders, and influencers.
📈 Expand our outreach
We’ll modernize our digital presence and develop an engaging ADA compliant platform to provide access to resources, self-serve tutorials, and streamlined support for future entrepreneurs and disabled-owned businesses.
🤝 Build Stronger Partnerships
We’ll foster new partnerships and collaborations to grow our network of mentors, sponsors, and advocates and ensure lasting impact.
💰 Increase Resources for Empowerment
Our goal is to raise $500,000 through grants, donations, and earned revenues to fuel financial assistance, expert counseling, and other funding opportunities that promote economic inclusion, independence, and growth.
